Chadashiel is an AI academic platform for students. To provide personalized practice, scheduling, research help, and related features, we process account information, learning activity, and content you choose to connect or upload.

We do not sell your personal information. We use data to operate the Services, improve learning features, keep accounts secure, and comply with law.

Information you provide

• Account details such as name, email, password, school level, and profile preferences
• Messages, prompts, and content you submit to Chadashiel AI or community features
• Practice results, quiz answers, weakness data, schedules, and uploaded study materials
• Tutoring, study group, and certification-related information you choose to share
• Payment and billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)
• Support requests and communications with us

Information collected automatically

• Device, browser, and log data (IP address, timestamps, pages viewed, errors)
• Usage data such as feature interactions, session duration, and referral source
• Cookies and similar technologies described below

Information from integrations you connect

• If you connect Google Calendar, Docs, or Sheets, we receive the data you authorize through OAuth — such as events, linked documents, and file metadata needed to provide connected features

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide AI coaching, practice loops, scheduling, and other platform features
• Personalize recommendations based on your learning activity and weak areas
• Enable peer tutoring, study groups, forums, and certifications
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send service messages, security alerts, and product updates
• Monitor abuse, enforce policies, and protect users
• Improve, debug, and develop the Services
• Comply with legal obligations

Chadashiel uses AI to generate explanations, study plans, research help, code feedback, and related outputs. To do this, we may process your prompts, practice history, connected materials, and other context you provide or generate on the platform.

• AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. They are for learning support, not professional, medical, legal, or official academic advice.
• We may use aggregated or de-identified learning data to improve features, subject coverage, and product quality.
• Do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed by AI systems, including information about other people without permission.

If we use third-party AI providers, we share only the data needed to deliver the feature, under contractual safeguards where available.

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us host, store, analyze, email, bill, or secure the platform (for example: cloud hosting, database, payment, and AI infrastructure providers)
• Other users when you use social features — such as study groups, tutoring, forums, leaderboards, or public profiles — according to your settings and the feature
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required

We do not sell personal information for money.

If you connect third-party accounts (such as Google Workspace), those services have their own privacy policies. We access only the scopes you approve and use that data to provide connected Chadashiel features.

You can disconnect integrations from your account settings. Disconnecting stops future syncs but may not automatically delete data already stored in Chadashiel.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Services.

• Essential cookies are required for login, security, and core functionality
• Analytics cookies help us understand how the platform is used

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may limit functionality.

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You may request account deletion. Some data may be retained in backups or where required by law for a limited period.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are intended for students. Users under 13 may not create an account unless permitted by applicable law and our policies.

If you are under 18, you should use the Services with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If we learn we collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take steps to delete it.

Chadashiel is not a school official record system. Schools that need FERPA-specific agreements should contact us before deploying the platform in a classroom context.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
• Export certain data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential marketing emails

Chadashiel is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate.

Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for cross-border transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
